The aluminized heat shield lays flat across a workbench, an engine cover, a firewall, or a cabinet near an oven to reflect radiant heat away from nearby surfaces. One sheet is included and it comes with an adhesive bonded back and a smooth outer layer of aluminized fiberglass fabric that reflects up to 1000F.
Each panel is about 24 by 48 inches with a thickness of 0.032 inch so you can trim it to fit hoses, doors, or engine bays. The single-piece package weighs 1.91 pounds and you stick or wrap the mat where you need it.
